Once upon a time, I was OBSESSED with these. Cyber pets are simply images of ‘pets’ that people put on their website. Most of the time, the ‘adopters’ write a little bio for these pets and maybe even a little story.

Most of the time, there would be creatures all plonked on a page for people to save to their computers. Occasionally, someone would offer custom made cyberpets if people emailed them. And then there was my favourite one, the hunt.

The website would be written like a second-person story and you could explore the website, looking for creatures. I loved places like Skyhaven Adoptions (redone since I first went there) and other stuff because most of the time you had to think.

I tried to make my own creatures, but I was too lazy to open the site. So, um, what does this have to do with anything?
